What happens after my free trial?
Your account stays active but access is limited to free-tier features. You can upgrade anytime — your data, progress, XP, and badges are never deleted.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel through your profile settings or the Stripe billing portal. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made.
What instruments are supported?
Any acoustic instrument via microphone input, plus keyboards, MIDI controllers, and electronic instruments via MIDI. The AI tutor analyzes pitch and rhythm regardless of instrument type.
Is there a student discount?
Yes — contact us with your .edu email for special academic pricing. We also offer discounted rates for music schools and non-profit programs through our Enterprise plan.
How does the AI tutor work?
Connect your microphone or MIDI device, select a practice piece, and play along. The AI analyzes your performance in real-time and provides feedback on pitch accuracy, rhythm consistency, and technique. Scores and session data are saved to your profile.
Can I use this for my music school?
Absolutely. Enterprise plans include multi-teacher management, student rosters, assignment creation and tracking, organization analytics, and dedicated onboarding. Contact our sales team for a custom quote.
What world regions are covered?
West Africa, Latin America, North America, Europe, East Asia, and Middle East & North Africa. Each region features legendary artists, cultural context, and region-specific lessons and practice pieces.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your profile settings and use the account deletion feature, or email support@musicmuse.astrionix.io. We process deletions within 30 days. Active subscriptions must be canceled first. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use HTTPS encryption for all connections, bcrypt password hashing, CSRF protection, rate-limited login attempts, and role-based access controls. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I get a refund?
You can request a full refund within 7 days of any charge. See our Refund Policy for eligibility criteria and instructions.
Do you offer an iOS or Android app?
MusicMuse is available as an installable Progressive Web App (PWA) on all platforms. You can add it to your home screen from your browser for an app-like experience. Native mobile apps are on our roadmap.
What is a breakglass account?
Breakglass accounts are emergency administrative accounts used by authorized personnel only. All actions performed under a breakglass session are fully audited. Regular users do not need or have access to breakglass functionality.
